This character is quirky and her quirks I think definitely make her flawed. Whaddaya think?

I think what's so deceptive about Bridget Jones - in a good way - is that while she has quirks, she also has insecurities about those quirks, and we get to see the root of them in the book. Everyone has quirks, but Fielding doesn't substitute them for genuine shortcomings. It isn't really about the quirks at all, it's about seeing a woman who's insecure about her weight, her love life, herself - who does feel the kind of pressures that women feel, who finds herself in awkward or difficult situations and isn't always 100% confident or self-assured. It's not the quirks, it's getting to see behind them, to the reason they exist.

In that book the author really digs into Bridget and really lets her inner monologue become it's own landscape, and when you do that, the quirks become as natural as mountains or forests or deserts.

Or, at least, that's my opinion.
