This whole "new" adult thing pigeonholes you as much as it does anyone else. Because it presumes that because you're 63 that you're going to be a curmudgeon-y old guy who like to read books about war by Tom Clancy. And obviously, you're NOT.
And as for adult books, I would disagree heartily with your statement.
