Personally I'd like to see more MMCs who are also different.
I would as well, especially if it's an MMC who is, say, of color, PWD, GLBT (well, minus the L) or what not. I think that one thing I get annoyed with is that a lot of female characters feel like the author just projecting themselves, but not any particularly interesting or deep part. And while that might be fun for the author, it's certainly not fun for the reader. Also, I don't want a genre that puts out any "Girls Only" or "Boys Only" signs.
this kinda makes me want to go back to my UF, in which I mess around with a lot of the "conventional" tropes and stereotypes of the subgenre.

I find it funny that you've got a secondary world to focus on before you finish and maybe do some UF. I've got some UF to finish before I move on to a secondary world fantasy that I'm going to work on next. Oh, the ironing!
