Ah, I never saw the show. (TV issues.) How close is it to the books? Or rather, should I bother hunting it down? :)

There's a long-term story arc about him falling in love and how complicated it gets, but it's very much secondary to the other story arcs, which is nice.

I love this post, and posts similar to it! But now I must crash so I can be useful later. :)
