Tags can actually be relatively easily edited in LJ and renamed. I've done it before. It wouldn't be THAT much effort for her to rename the offending tag to something less offense and then delete the offending tag.

On a petty, snarky note, it's not like her tags are actually useful for anything. I think they're supposed to be little monuments to her cleverness rather than organizational tools anyway.
