I was excited (even as a Mac user) to hear that Scrivener has a Windows version, because if I should get disposable income and find myself on a Windows machine, it'll be nice to know I can use this program - also I know a lot of Windows-using writer friends who'd probably like to finally give it a whirl.

Yeah, that price point was a bit much with all things considered for me. Even when I had a job and saw the price, I balked but at the time thought I'd still HAVE a job and the program did work quite nicely.
I'm not one who knows enough about software to say whether their price point is too high or actually reasonable, I just know what I can/can't afford at the moment. *sigh*
