As a rather obsessive Star Wars fan who is rather fond of (most) of the (movie) Sith, I was really, really disappointed by those drawings. I think they owe a lot to the Expanded Universe comics, which regularly dress female Sith (and sometimes male Sith) like that--the EU gave us the mostly-naked Darth Maul comic (uh, it had a plot? sort of? I think?), but mostly it gives us ridiculously costumed women. There is a reason Aayla Secura is the most scantily-clad female Jedi in the movies, and that is because she started out in the comics (although I am baffled that the movie costumers couldn't at least find her flat boots instead of heels).
There are several reasons I am not terribly fond of the EU. The costuming double standard is one of them. It's true the EU has some amount of fanservice for people who like men (aforementioned Darth Maul comic, also Quinlan Vos), but it's a different kind of fanservice: the usual strength-is-sexy, competence-is-sexy, don't-have-to-compromise-practicality-to-be-sexy that female characters are rarely allowed.

In sum: not impressed.
