Thinky food

This post about Twilight and why it isn't such a horrible book by helen_keeble is really kind of eye opening and a very good post that illuminates for me why it is that the Twilight phenomena horrifies some, but delights others.

I laughed at the suggestion that the ever sparkly Edward Cullen is not actually written in the vampire trope, but the animal companion trope. She makes a good and rather amusing point.

Vampires as animal companions. Hmm. I should write that down somewhere, that might be an interesting experiment to write about.

All right, enough link hopping. Time to get back to the whirlwind rewrite. I'm burnin' daylight, and with all this cloud cover, there's not that much of it today.
