Due to Amazon's decision to get their asshat on - look, that's what it amounts to. Don't believe me, go read this from Tobias Buckell and then get back to me (link takes you to SFWA because Buckell's site is having problems).

Anyway, because Amazon has decided (yet again) to make their fail epic, I will no longer link to Amazon's website like I used to. Instead, for the moment, I'm going with Barnes & Noble. So far as I know they still carry all Macmillan authors and imprints and their prices are generally just as reasonable as Amazon's. And they haven't pissed me off in the last few years.

If you're looking to get your used book fix, I've heard positive things about Powell's, but I can't vouch for them because I've never used them.

That is all. As you were.

ETA: Yes, I have seen Amazon's passive-aggressive magnum opus and I'm not impressed. You did this for the customers? Yeah, right. Saying Macmillan has "a monopoly over their own titles" (HOW DARE THEY OWN THINGS THAT ARE ACTUALLY THEIRS AND ASSERT THAT OWNERSHIP! THE NERVE!) when you've just been trying to bully the company into accepting your terms for reasons that are completely about solidifying your own near-monopoly (word used correctly this time) is a Pot-Kettle-Black type situation. Except I'd like to hit you in the fact with that pot.
