I've read the first of that series (The Magicians and Mrs. Quent), I don't remember any GLBT+ characters or content in it, but I read it waaaay back a couple of years ago so my memory is a bit fuzzy.
I'll take your word about the second book. Do you think it might be better just to add the second?
