[Permanent Posts]: Book Recommendations

If there's a book you think I simply must read, leave a comment with the author and title. ISBN if you've got it.

I'd start off with Slow River (0345395379) by Nicola Griffith, except I'd be very hopeful you have already read it.

Oh, and hello. ;)

Well, anything Connie Willis :)

Nancy Kress has three wonderful how to writes called, "Beginnings, middles, and ends" and two others that are also good. These have helped me an awful lot, and plus, they're enjoyable reads.

Terry Pratchett, Parke Godwin "Waiting for the Galactic Bus," Clive Barker's "Weaveworld," Richard Bach's "The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah," Grant Naylor's Red Dwarf Series: "Red Dwarf," and the other one, I can't think of now. Zenna Henderson's People series and short story collections: "The Anything Box," and two others, and Ray Bradbury, his early stuff. Stephen Baxter, anything.

There's a bunch of others, but these are some of my favorites :)

Not a whole lot of recommendations here!

I wholeheartedly recommend "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss.
