Don't you wish we all had a rich uncle or some such who gave us unlimited gift cards to the (new) book stores?! Now, there's my idea of heaven :D
I know! I guess I'll just have to get spectacularly rich and be a rich (if eccentric) aunt to my sister's kids. Until, then I'll have to settle for the occasional treat of a gift card for a birthday/holiday.
On the good side, I live close to two very huge used book stores. One being The Strand (http://www.strandbooks.com), the other being the Book Barn - both of which have lots of books on the cheap. Of course, not the new releases that I'd want, but still. Nothing like getting your classic SF/F fix for a dollar a book.
