Everyone journals in their own way. And it's not like those who write pages and pages each day are actually BETTER than those who check in once a month or something to scribble down some feelings or draw a picture or something.
For instance, John Adams wrote in a journal every single day of his adult life. Seriously. Even when he was sick. So we have VOLUMES of his diaries. But sweet Jesus on a sidecar, 99.9% of it is tedious, historical importance aside. Most of it is actually really boring.
Whereas Anne Frank didn't journal every day, but some of the things she said in the brief period in which she did write were actually quite profound and poignant.
So there you go. Writing something profound once a month can be just as good as writing tedious crap on a daily basis. If not better.
