We'll ignore for a moment that I didn't see any of the Dexter reviews up there, because I didn't.
But had I, I still wouldn't have been as irked. The Dexter books (upon which the show is based) actually do have an SF/F connection.
By the third book, it is revealed that Dexter's killings (and his Dark Passenger) are the result of ancient gods and supernatural forces - thus making it a very dark (and yes, very weird) fantasy novel.
The show itself might not be following that track (yet), but there's some relevance in watching and commenting on a show that stems from a series of books that BECAME a dark fantasy (to the chagrin of many fans, I might add).
As for Criminal Minds? There's not even a whiff of any connection. There's absolutely zero elements of SF/F in there.
Not to mention that your assertion that somehow it's okay 'cause somebody else was posting about another crime show first made me laugh at you very hard. I find anyone who comes to me saying, "but, but, they did it first!" utterly ridiculous.
I find your anonymity LOLarious. Cowardly, but LOLarious. Please, next time you come around, feel free to sign your post with something besides your IP address.
So, in conclusion: You're wrong, you're anonymous, and you haven't changed my mind about anything. Have a nice day.
