New layout!

Let me know if anything looks weird in the browser you're using or if something is not accessible anymore or things like that. I sorta designed this layout (well, sorta). I mostly just tinkered and chopped away at the basic CSS for Tabula Rasa until it did what I wanted it to do.
You'll need to turn off all your modules except the navigation, unless you want to modify that as well. It may look funky if you don't.
And yes, you can borrow it if you like. And feel free to modify anything and everything. Credit would be super nice.
So, here it is. I call it "Flutterby" and it works with Tabula Rasa:
It looks like this (click for bigger view):

ETA: The problem with the navigation module has been fixed! Sorry for that!
So, let me know if there are any problems and I hope people will like this layout!

float: right; position fixed for #secondary is most likely the cause, as it stays in that location as I scroll, and covers up portions of text in the entries. :(

And thank you. I'm glad that you like it.

Date: 2012-01-05 11:28 pm (UTC)Is it staying up at the top or is it staying right at the middle of the screen even when you scroll down?

Date: 2012-01-05 11:55 pm (UTC)Right now, all I'm seeing is this: http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t113/fictiontheory/Screenshot2012-01-05at63717PM.png
BTW, what browser are you using? That might be affecting things.
Here's a version of the layout where the navigation box stays put.

Date: 2012-01-06 12:00 am (UTC)The navigation links definitely stay put in the middle of my screen and cover the entries as I scroll. I also have a feeling that the entry width is wider on my monitor than what I see on your screencap.
I probably won't tryout the layout since it took me quite a while to get my current one the way I wanted it, but I will keep it in mind if I find I want a change.

Date: 2012-01-06 02:05 am (UTC)He said that it was probably not a monitor or screen resolution issue, but rather something may not be parsing the CSS correctly. I noticed in those screenshots that not only is the navigation module not doing what it should, but other parts where white that should have been just the background.
I downloaded the latest version of Firefox just to see and it looked okay on there, too. I'll keep fiddling with it to see if I can figure it out.
I'm glad you like it, and sorry it gave you trouble. :(

Date: 2012-01-06 05:25 pm (UTC)I thought that maybe that had something to do with my browsing the internet with Firefox all zoomed in (ctrl ++ is my BFF), but no, I zoomed out until the font was unreadable and the nav links still stayed in the middle of the page.
I'm on FF 9.0.1. Dunno if this helps

I'm really baffled as to why this is happening, because other people are saying it works just fine for them.
