Small revelations

megwritesI had a bit of an epiphany yesterday while I was in Borders, cruising the shelves and sampling the goods there.
I looked down at a book by an author I respect, envy, admire, and love to death.
And I realized that I want to read that book, but that's not the book I want to write at all.
I want to write *my* books.
So here's to writing your own stories, telling your own tale, and being brave enough to look down and say "it's good" without needing anyone else to tell you that.
