*smacks forehead*

I can't believe I forgot *YA*. That's like, a frickin' huge important genre.

I'm silly.

I also read YA and, shamefully, a staggering amount of terrible horrible no good very bad fanfiction. Especially the corny slash.

I technically speak two languages if you compile all the tidbits I know of the Romance and Germanic languages (esp. what I can remember from my three years of French and two years of Spanish; the five years of Italian are a lost cause, as they were when I was very small and paid far less attention to the lesson than to the books I was reading under my desk) and a few others and add them to the bare-bones Japanese I've collected over the last six years of violent anime/manga and convoluted song lyrics. (I also do very good English.)

As for religion, although I seem to have settled around some sort of conflation of atheist and animist, someday I think it might be a fun exercise to puzzle out the philosophy of the actual Jesus of Galilee from its position in the midst of the tangled web of Abrahamic politics; that is, if I can wrangle my attention span for that long. He appears to have been the original hippie, with radical notions about peace and love and the socialist redistribution of loaves and fishes. I think I would have liked him.
