"King Rat" arrived today, thanks to the most awesome nhw. All the way from Belgium! It's kind of neat that I have the UK cover instead of the US cover on the book (I usually like UK covers better anyway).

May loads of good karma come his way. Seriously. I did the Euros to Dollar conversion. This sucker cost six bucks to send. I don't know what six bucks will get you in Belgium, but stateside that's three bagels and a coffee at the place around the corner or a couple of new notebooks or a whole lot of pencils or a paperback or two large tubes of titanium white acrylic paint. Or .1% of the student loan debt I acquired my first year of university.

Did I mention that nhw is awesome?

Also? Funniest quote of the day comes from the Boy when he saw the package and then the book: "Aww, now you can't read it because it's gonna be in Belgiumese."

And to clear up confusion - yes, he knows that there isn't a *Belgiumese*, he was just being...himself.
