I have a $50 Amazon Gift Card given to me for my birthday, and a $50 gift credit card.

This means I have at least $100 to put towards books. Give me recommendations. Title and author are sufficient, but if you have any particular reasons why you think I should be reading that particular book say so.

Hint: books that come along with at least one good reason for me to pick them up are more likely to get read. Even if that reason is "Well, you're on my f-list and here's a book I wrote. Help me make some money, plz."

I probably need to do a review dump. I think I should finish my current book before doing that.

Have you ever read Ali and Nino, the great love story of the South Caucasus? Has the merits of being cheap, short and excellent.

[laughing] well since you insist...

(my latest two, #1 now in paperback and #2 in hardcover, are the first two volumes in a YA trilogy - so if you have any interest in that kind of stuff take a look on Amazon at "Gift of the Unmage" and "Spellspam", of the Worldweavers trilogy. If you feel as though you need more than that to know if this is your cup of tea or not, there are exceprts from both books up at their website, www.WorldWeaversWeb.com - so go lookitthat, and see how far it takes you...)
