I'm actually just an adherent of the repeated meme.
It's things like this that are part of the reason that I'm kind of scared to go to cons. And I'm hearing that there was a flu going around at WisCon. Eeep.
Somedays, I wonder if going out into the world is worth it at all.
But on a couple of brighter notes:
1. Editing and rewriting of the Tower!Guy story continues apace. And by apace, I mean that I expect to finish a chapter either today or early tomorrow and continue on to the next one post haste.

However, that said, most conferences, especially those geared towards the professional writer, are nothing like that.
And I promise, if you ever come to say, an RWA conference I'm at, I'll be your personal guide. Because seriously-- a good conference, it's an unbeatable experience with respect to regrouping and getting the writing juices in gear.
