Once again, the Book Barn (both locations) was wonderful, though I didn't get as much as last time, and went in for more history than usual, but I've got a hankering for it. We had thirty dollars in credit from the books we sold back to them. We bought forty dollars worth of books, but with the credit, only paid about ten.

The loot, in no particular order:

Tracing the Shadow - Sarah Ash
Faith and Treason: The Story of the Gunpowder Plot - Antonia Fraser
A Brief History of the Dead - Kevin Brockmeier
The Charmed Sphere - Catherine Asaro
Eleanor of Aquitaine - Alison Weir
The Princes In The Tower - Alison Weir
The Thackery T. Lambshead Pocket Guide to Eccentric and Discredit Diseases - edited by Jeff Vandermeer and Mark Roberts
Dead Witch Walking - Kim Harrison

We also bought Neil Gaiman's latest, The Graveyard Book, when we went to Borders. I do hate to give any business to Borders, though, because they have the world's spottiest and most bewildering selection, particularly of SF/F. I don't know who picks their books, but I suspect that they're blindfolded and something akin to Pin The Tail On the Donkey is going on at the corporate headquarters.

Anti-Obama? That's interesting.

Jennifer likes monkeys better than goats. When we went to the zoo, it was tough to tear her away from the gibbons. But she did go with me to the petting zoo.

I got to pet llamas and sheep. No goats though.

And the eland. I liked them. I decided they are definitely cowalopes.
