Do what I try to do when inspiration falters: write on something else that I do have inspiration for. I have a theory that each project has its own muse and your muses are like toddlers. They want to be the center of attention - always. So, if you ignore one, she'll get all testy and begin cooperating again.

(Or, alternately, you attract more of them who want your attention to go in an even different direction but here's hoping that doesn't happen. . .)

That's a good theory.

But what if you're drowning in tot!muses? Or alternately, they're all having naptime?

Although, thanks for encouragement.

BTW, prod prod - aren't you supposed to be working on a novel?
