Hooray! That is very cool. I am also assuming this is a big agent, since you started at the top of your list, right? So double congrats. I will keep my fingers crossed!

Well, I don't know what counts as a big name agent or not. I do know that the books she's represented are books I read and really liked and that she's made some really good sales and she seemed very receptive to new writers with strong voices.

But for those reasons, she was actually the second or third on my list, IIRC, and I was really thrilled with her responding quickly, because I'd totally love to work with her.
